The Origin: "Made for Amigo"
In 2018, the concept for TACLAB started where it matters most: on the shooting range. Our founder, Wei, and his close friend Rodriguez—a military veteran—were running drills when Rodriguez pointed out a glaring gap in the tactical market. He was searching for a high-quality skeleton tactical glove, but everything available was either a compromise on performance or featured cheap, flat white graphics that lacked authenticity. "Solid colors are just an outsider's misunderstanding," Rodriguez noted.
For years, the industry standard for tactical gloves meant sacrificing tactile feel for durability, or breathability for grip. TACLAB was created to shatter that compromise.
The Breakthrough: Engineering the Reaper
The turning point came when Wei was inspired by the rich, textured surfaces at an oil painting exhibition. This sparked a revolutionary manufacturing approach.
The result was the iconic REAPER Tactical Glove. We achieved a true 3D, textured bone effect through 10 hours of craftsmanship and 40 repeated precision printings—enhanced with luminous powder for a tactical glow-in-the-dark advantage.
But aesthetics mean nothing without performance. We engineered the REAPER with perforated microfiber and ergonomically designed printed silicone anti-slip strips. This solved the ultimate tactical dilemma: delivering maximum grip and unmatched durability while preserving the bare-hand tactile feel critical for precision shooting and weapon handling.
